Jamie Colby
Colby is an anchor, National News Correspondent, and anchor for Fox News. He has been with the company since July 2003. Prior to the move to FOX News Channel, Colby worked as a correspondent at CNN and also served as an anchor as well as reporter for CBS News including anchor fill-in to CBS's Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is an attorney who has been licensed to practice law throughout New York, California, Florida and The District of Columbia. She has received numerous awards, including the Edward R.Murrow Award in 2002 for reporting on the terror attacks of September 11 and for her reporting on the September 11 attacks. Gracie Award for Investigative Reporting in 2000, and the Clarion Award for Women in Communications. Television Week also named her an "Rising News Star To Follow". Alongside her work in journalism, Colby, an attorney was in private practice for ten years. Her law practice began with a Hollywood entertainment firm that assigned Colby the show The Tonight Show. She was working with Johnny Carson at the age of 22 both during his renewal of contract and separation from NBC. Colby, a Fox Business reporter and host who has reported on Strange Inheritance since January 2015. The program focuses on unusual or quirky legacy items that people or family members leave behind.
