Alison Doody
Alison Doody, born in Dublin 1966 to a privileged family. Doody is the youngest of three siblings. She was educated at a convent, where she discovered a love of the arts. After that, she studied at the National College of Fine Arts of Dublin however, she left because she was lacking motivation. The thought was that she'd have a rest in order to regain her bearings. In the meantime, as she was sitting in a restaurant with friends when she was approached by a still photographer, who inquired if she'd want to do a modeling. She said yes, believing that she'd be able to make use of the cash for pocket cash. Modeling proved to be both rewarding and fun, and within a short time, she began to model professionally. It was possible for her to go around the world for commercial modeling after signing agreements. After watching her performance her work, she was urged to pursue modeling. The director sent her to London when she was 19 where she quickly won an audition to be part of the upcoming James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). The actress was so enthralled by acting, she pursued a career in that direction. After the first film she acted in, she shot a few TV productions both in London and in Dublin But her most memorable success came when her name was cast as Aryan lover in Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
